Vo gạo nếp và ngâm trong một đêm. Cho gạo nếp vào 15g đường, 155ml nước cốt dừa vào tô lớn trộn đều. Sau đó, đổ vào hỗn hợp vào tô lớn đặt sẵn trong nồi hấp. Tiến hành hấp chín thành xôi. Thường xuyên xới đều cho xôi được tơi.
Ngâm hoa đậu biết với chút nước nóng cho ra màu rồi rới vào xôi trộn đều để tạo màu tự nhiên. Xoài chín thái lấy thịt xoài rồi thái nhỏ hoặc thái thành những lát mỏng nhỏ rồi xếp hình hoa hồng cho đẹp mắt.
Vê xôi thành nắm to tròn dẹp cho ra đĩa, thêm xoài chín đã cắt, rưới thêm nước cốt dừa nếu thích. Rắc chút mè đen rang thơm lên trên nữa là hoàn tất. Dùng làm món ăn sáng thì ngon hết sẩy luôn nhé!
